About Me
Claire Lawson
I've been in the roofing industry now 30 years, starting off with the CITB in Kings Norton gaining my NVQ 1-3 in Roof Slating & Tiling. My 3 years there unexpectedly gave more of an open sight to roofing. I became the first female qualified roofer, which led me to compete in the SkillBuild in Manchester, being placed there gave me the opportunity to compete in Luxembourg.

Following on from being on the tools I became Product Trainer for what was then Redland Roof Tiles, opening doors to architects , specifiers and product research. Moving on from the training centre I stepped into the world of technical advice. Dealing with clients with issues and resolving them by drawings or going to site - having the practical background gave me a better understanding on how to help people. After 11 years with Redland I jumped into the realm of consultancy which is where I still am today.

I cover a wide range of services from bespoke pitched roof specifications, condition surveys, disputes, problem solving if its not listed still ask because if cant help i may know someone who can.
Listed Buildings
Just one of our services we can provide is to look at existing buildings. Then provide a condition survey followed by a bespoke specification to bring the roof up to current regulations without losing the buildings character/features - we can then support the process by on site visits as the works progress to ensure they are being carried out correctly.
